It's good to see this kit in such a realistic setting. It sure can absorb a lot of sailor figures!
I like the bit with the raised oars inside the cutter in the boat falls and the dramatic upshot of the pagoda bridge--looks just like the opening shot of "Tora! Tora! Tora!", just in reverse.

Hi Kym
Apart from all have said, which I have to concur, I am amazed at your production rate!

What is not to like? Kym does a great job at detailing these ships. The photos make me feel like it is a morning in the Pacific and it is the late war ISE. Love those hybrids.

Glad to see someone finally built this one. I have mine in the stash. As you pointed out in your story, she never had aircraft. So why are they on her? Not being impertainent here. I want to know when I build mine as they included some nice aircraft with it.

Thanks for the compliments fellas, truly appreciated.
Steve, Apparently Ise never had a air wing assigned to her but, she did have aircraft on board at various times during her late war career. One photo I've seen after the rebuild, shows a couple of Jakes (I think) on the flight deck during sea trials.

Good! I probably would have put aircraft on her anyway, glad to know I'll be correct in doing so.

Stunning! At first glance I thought it was a color photo from WWII. Beautifully lit and detailed, awesome build.
