Ive heard a couple of references to replacement IJN carrier decks in etched metal by Joe World. Anyone seen any or know were to look for them. Cant find any references on the net or the usual places eg HLJ.

Any help appreciated

Don't know about etched metal, but probably for almost the same price you can real wood ones. I've got a set for my Akagi and Shokaku and used them with my Kongo.

Hi Allan

Oh Yes... The Joe's World PE sets... Only available to the japanese market, with some exceptions of some sets available at www.rainbowten.co.jp
The ones I have come from Rainbow Ten (none of them the PE decks! They get OOP very fast)
Good service, too (I have no affiliation to the online shop)

Another option is to scratchbuilt your own deck, in evergreen... Please check this: 1/700 IJN Unyo

Hope this helps
Cheers,
Rui

None at rainbow 10 unfortunately. Not up to the standard of the Lion Roar decks. But still pretty good. If only I could find one . grrr
