Very impressive build. I'll bet that display really stands out any place you take it.
What did you use for the crew?

Hi Louis!
Very good and it sure is impressive (just the sheer size of the beast makes it a hot spot in any exhibition/Contest)
Congratulations,
Rui

Being a big fan of the Yamato I must say I really liked what you did with her. I prefer the inital configuration. She looks so much sleeker that way. But you really outdid yourself with your build. So much so that i now seek to emmulate what you've done. The Veteran 127mm guns. What do you get. I looked it up and for $20 it sets there are 4. 4 what? I saw something about gun barrels and second fuse controllers

Hi Louis!
I admire the deck plank detailing and drybrush work on all the gun mounts. Such techniques make a ship model 'snap'.

P. S. The Spits arrived just fine--you should go into the molding business!

Thanks guys for your kind comments about my model....really enjoyed this build....
Steve you get the 12.7's with a very detailed photo etch sheet plus brass barrels and there are 4 in a packet. They are very fine and the detail is very crisp.
Karl Glad you got the spits....now you got me hooked on an idea when an american carrier . I think it was the Wasp...transported spits to Malta when we had the Blitz in WWII...
Thanks again and best regards from the little island of Malta
