Well, the campaign kicked off on Jan. 1. Was hoping to see some reports on folks who had strted and their progress. Anyway, I started mine, a 350 Akagi. Had a bit of a problem with the underdeck PE so I opted to do a small amount of it in front and a lot more in the back. Had more than my share of problems with it and lots of glued together fingers. But I finally have got it where I want it. The rest of the ship has been a breeze. Even the PE went on without too much hassle. THis stuff is really thin and bends if you breathe on it.But it looks so good when you get it right. Next step is to glue the flight deck onto the hull. I have a feeling a few dozen cusswords will erupt with that as intial laydown stuff doesn't line up easily.

Figure to have her completed by the end of March as I still have a bunch of aircraft to complete. Got about 4 totally done and I need 9 zeros and 27 Kates for my PH first wave launch version

I agree, Steve, this campaign unfortunately has been a bit quiet... here is the official update thread in case you missed it, mate...

For my part I'm hard at work on the Glorious and Taiho. If it weren't for the hassles I'm having with uploading images to the forums, I'd send WIP's instead of saving things for a Feature at the end, but rest assured, my first two entries are moving along steadily.
