Does the Missouri kit include parts to build her as she appeared during the first Gulf War? I ran across a build that was finished that way, but the guy thought he built it OOB. I was only aware of the boxing depicting the kit as it was in 1945.

The actual Tamiya 'Missouri' kit is as it appeared in late WWII.
If you want to build the 'Desert Storm' Missouri, you will have to buy the Tamiya New Jersey and modify it.
A friend of mine built the Missouri as it appeared during the Gulf War and said it has some unique characteristics that are not present on the Tamiya New Jersey kit.

I'll bet that's what he did. Here's the link for the page that has his Missouri on it:

Looks like the New Jersey to me.
Thanks Brent.

get the New Jersey kit as it will have most of the reconfig you need. If you are up to doing it up, get a PE set and legeneds makes replacement Phalanxes and Tommahawks for it. I am sure there are other major changes but there probably are some aftermarket parts and a little scratchbuilding.
