hi guys looking for some help finding a good kit of nelsons hms victory for a freind who was considering starting a week by week publication build and mag from the local news agents he saw on tv.he asked me what i thought of the model but i build afv so wounderd if you guys could help me find a good kit for him.he has a good all round skill and will build most kits from si fi to ww2.

Last I recall, there was an excellent Heller and Airfix kit of her. I am sure there are several wooden kits as well. The Heller kit is HUGE. Something close to 4 ft long. It ain't cheap eitherclose to $200

Our mate Steve has given good info, indeed, the Heller kit (re-issued) is a decent build up of the HMS Victory, in injection mold plastic....BUT, if I was going to do it myself, I would go for a wooden kit, definitely...Artesania Latina will really give him the bang that this type of build deserves though, along with a pretty steep price...BUT, a museum quality build will be the result...
