In addition to the news of the 1:350 Fuso, both Hobby Link Japan and Tamiya.com are reporting that a Tamiya prototype of a 1:350 Tone may make an appearance at the All Japan trade show next month.

There was another post earlier about the Fuso. Plus there were a whole bunch of new 1/700 kits my weekly email from HLJ.


Aoshima:
Nagato 1945
Fuso 1938

Fujimi:
Tone
Akitsuki
Chikuma
Taiho
Shokaku
Ise CVBB

These are all listed as new molds, so I guess they are going full tilt making upgraded kits.

SUPER !!! GLAD IT IS JUST STARTING DEVELOPEMENT. JUST GOT THE SCHARNHORST AND THE BEGINNING OF THE GOODIES (NEED A WOODEN DECK ?), WITH THE FUSO COMING OUT IN A COUPOLE OF MONTHS AND PROBABLY SOON AFTER THAT THE ROMA.....WELL THE BUDGET WILL REALLY BE STERETCHED OUT
