I preordered one about 2 months ago. Does anyone have a clue as to the expected release date? Oh and maybe the same for Trumpy's 1/350 Roma

Kym;
Did you get her yet? I pre-ordered mine from Freetime Hobbies out of Georgia (USA) and the last check still showed them advertising a Pre-order price. I saw the PE and woooden deck stuff from HWJ so i will probably have to add that to the list.

Yeah Steve, got the lot. First thing I noticed when looking at the sprues was that, I thought some must be missing. It just didn't seem enough parts to build a ship with that size pagoda, but everything is there. P/E and wood deck (with more P/E) are very nice. Not quite the quantity you'd expect from the latest Hasegawa's sets, but will do the job nicely and bring this model kit to a top class reproduction.

I'm back in the groove after a 14 month beak. Here are a few shots of progress so far. Hull waterlined and a start made on the forward superstructure. I have no Kure Grey paint so can only add detail to certain subsections with out final assembly. Superstructure only dry fitted.

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at theat pagoda !!!!!!!
Still no word on when I'll get mine. They say they've sold out the firt shipment they expect and are working on the second allotment. I ordered way back in middle November, so i should be pretty high on the list. I guess i'll have to get that PE and wood deck after looking at yours.
