Wellcome aboard mate, Being your first venture into the wet element, I must say you have wasted your time on those wingiethingies

Both the sub and the ship looks great and the water looks like you have been doing nothing else the last few years.

Only nitpick is the wooden frame on the ship - personally I prefer the water to cover the wood seen from above.

Cheers/Jan

Very nice first ventures into ships. I like the FFG setting a great deal.

Thank you for sharing them with us!

HI Eugene!

Welcome to the salty side!

What a great foray into ship modeling! Jan has a point on having water overlap a base's border: it also helps out in photography because if you shoot from surface level, you can create the illusion of a natural horizon--just like those "disappearing horizon" swimming pools.

Welcome aboard mate! Very nice job overall, kudos on the water effort!

As for PE, you may want to try out Gator's Grip (Acrylic Water based glue). Slow setting, allows you to move your PE (or plastic bit) around. Any slop-overs, you can wash out with a wet brush. I also use Gators Grip to glue small plastic parts; you can use a small fine brush to move/position the piece in place. Dries clear!

Your water effects are quite good. Not so sure about the snow on the sub as I think water would wash that off, at least on the bow, but innovtive to be sure
