I recently bought a wood deck from a company called Blue Star, but have not been able to find any reviews. Anyone have any experience/advice regarding these decks? Any help will be very much appreciated.

I cannot remember who puts out the Blue Star decks. Some companies use different names for their various items.

I've used KA wooden decks and they work wonderfully.

im wondering if they are the same. i thought that earlier, but another modeler said they were not one in the same. i will do some research when the package arrives, but for USD 29.00 i was willing to risk trying them.
ill post some feedback about them when i actually use it, which should be soon.
Thanks for the imput!

I like wooden decks. Generally the KA are pretty resonable. I would like to get some info on these as to what they make spec 350 scale kits

OK that was a quick check. The full name is Blue Star Admiral. I found that Great Models is selling them in the $25 range....for 700 scale Mutsu, Nagato, Yamato and Hood that i recall.

yep, you are right. they also make decks for Scharnhorst, Prinz Eugen, Bismarck, and Tirpitz as well. Have you seen any reviews or comments about their quality or fit?
thanks for the input,

cheers,

Did you notice the new vendor post? They make wooden decks as well.

I used the KA deck for my current Prinz Eugen build. Delivered it was $45 and includes anchor chain and PE.

Remember that humidity is NOT good for them. I took my hull over to my work shop, no-a/c there. It started to bubble up a little, so back into the house.

Looking forward to your report!
