hello i work on this kit for the moment
the firt thing i do, it s to make joggles lags on the hull, because they are not on the kit ,like the photo of the pennsylvania in dry dock.
so i built, them like this.
and i make the fuel pipe on the hull it was nt on the kit trumpeter forget it
so after the paint
and today i work on the paint and i am here for the moment
i think a lot, at the tragic history of this ship !!and at the mans who lost her life.

Looking good Stephane ! Is that Navy blue or Sea blue you used for the hull colour? The shades are very close so it can be difficult to tell from a photo.
I like the strakes you scratch built on the lower hull, stops it from being bland and the fuel pipe would seem like a painless operation, both add to the detailing of the model. Was the fuel pipe fitted on both sides or only on the port side?
Are you still going to fit the PE ladders to the superstructure?
I also see a Fletcher class destroyer lurking behind the Arizona on your shelf, how about some photos of that build too?

i make the colors with two paint tamiya to have the blue navy.
two part of blue medium and one part of ocean grey to have this paint.
the fuel pipe is on one side only on port side.i will going to fit the p.e ladders on the superstructure.

Interesting to hear you went for Navy blue too Stephane, in the sunlight you can see the difference in shades that are possible from one colour.
