Sadly I only have bad things to say about this build.
1, not enough photographs.
2, while sitting on the stand, a better backdrop would do this a power of good.
So as you can imagine if the above are bad comments, imagine how long the list of good comments there would be ? Very nice overall, thank you for sharing.

This is a worthy companion to the 1:48 Gambier Bay we have on display on the Midway's Hangar Deck--the details match well.

Very impressive work. I have Gambier Bay high up on my "to do" list, but have no illusions that my rendition of her would look anywhere near that good! Congratulations on a job very well done.
