Nice review Jim.
Looks like a solid workmanlike job Acadamy have made of the grand old lady.
Glad to see they have made waterlining easy.
I know there are those that will bemoan it is not up to "Dragon standards" but it works for me.
For the price, very good value for money, yes extras will be needed, but then when aren't they? And this time it is not a £100 price tag before you start on the etch! etc I am definitely in for one.

I find it reasonably priced for the quality - most will look for an etch set anyway to get the ladders and railing.
Now - british submarines and ships up to destroyer size plz.

Did I read the price right $70 !!!??? That will make it fly off the shelves. Now days with all the $200+ battleship kits out there, this will be a welcome relief to the wallet...
Better still................... Jim now that you have reviewed it....pack it up and ship it to me for construction.....LOL

Actually I am sending this over to my friend Louis in Malta. He has taled about her several times to me, so I figure he will build her. I have alreeady been asked for this kit many times.
I do agree at $70, this is a very good price.
