What decal set do you all use? I am not happy with the stuff that I have been using and I am wondering what everyone here has had good luck with.

decal set to what? With ships i have very little decal work.
On US... a number, a name, a flag with others generally just a flag.
On aircraft carriers ....the planes. I have always been happy with what came with the kit. Of course I primarily build 350 warships

Trying to set decals to just about anything: ships, tanks, etc. I have only been able to get decals to set on flat surfaces and I have heard tales of decal set solutions that will make decals set on non-flat pieces.
Most recently I was trying to set a decal on the turret of a tank but there was a hatch in the way and I couldn't get the decal to sit around it.

Micro sol and micro set. can usually get at any LHS. sometimes it works by cutting decals as well
a little trick is to get clear acrylic floor polish and spray it on the model before you decal. It makes for a smooth surface and the decals adhere better. I got a generic brand at dollar store. after wards I spray dullcoat
