I've just launched a new discussion group (ELCO80) for builders of Italeri's PT 596 and PT 109 kits. The primary purpose of this group is to provide builders of these two kits with a venue to share their experiences and information with other builders. The site will include Photo and File sections that will include both model and prototype references.

THIS GROUP IS NOT SPONSORED BY NOR OTHERWISE AFFILIATED WITH ITALERI. It was created and is moderated by professional ship modeler Al Ross, whose primary modeling and research interest is small combatants. This is a moderated group and all input will be reviewed prior to posting.

Join us at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ELCO80/

Sounds great. I have the 595 kit but plan to swap torpedoes for the earlier ones..kind of a hybrid... with Bod Davis (Dioman)
EDIT:
Tried to join the group but it wanted way to much info that i just don't think is essential to what I want to do; but good luck with it
