Two new destroyers are on the way from Trumpeter, these two opposing ships should be a great addition to any collection.

Not being a regular ship guy, can some let me know if there would be major differences between the HMS Eskimo and the HMCS Haida, as they were both Tribal Class?

Although the HMS Eskimo was a British ship and the HMCS Haida was a Canadian ship, they were both built by Vickers Armstrong and should be overall very similar. The differences will mostly be in specified equipment as requested from each Navy, and should be overall minor from a modeling standpoint.
Here are a few links for you. The first two highlight some subtle details in the unique aspects of each ship. The second two are a comparison of the specifications such as armament etc.
HMS Eskimo
HMCS Haida
HMS Eskimo specs
HMCS and Haida specs
Hope this is enough to get you started in the right direction Kevin.

Oh at last.

and a Tribal class at that

Now for my next wish to be fore filled an Italian Soldati class
Kevin, I think Jeremy's given you enough info but if you need more I do have a book on the Tribal's but looking at the info I don't think it will give you much more.

I have three Tribals on preorder!

Could it be just a matter of time before we'll see RN cruisers and carriers in 1:350?

My father served on the Haida during Korea. Just got the Eskimo and am going to modify it to the 1953 Haida. Hoping for the best
