I do not know if anyone has discovered this yet, but Testors Model Master now has naval paint. I prefer enamel and just got in 6 bottles to include US OCean, Light and Haze Kure naval and a hull red. I was looking for semi gloss black to do my nuc subs and this is how I discovered it. Don't recall all the colors but there were some US blues and a couple of IJN arsenal grays I saw
My problem with White ensign is finding them sometimes and the cost per size. So now an alternative

Hi Steve,
Yes these colors were added to their line some time ago.
These paints are excellent, airbrush very well and are quite
resistant. I use them on many of my projects.
Their selection of colors is growing and you can basically
tackle a variety of military projects.
Also their railroad colors compliment this line for
additional flexibility.
Cheers.

The only qualifier is if you brush paint in small, tight touch up areas. I had trouble with the Haze Gray acrylic and even the Weather Deck Blue and Navy Blue seemed "greasy." Nonetheless, I think the colors are very accurate and match up nicely with all the color references and photos I could find. Especially the light Haze Gray acrylic--it has that little periwinkle/purple/blue tint to it that I haven't found in any other Haze Gray. So I will use these paints again, and I, too, recommend them.
