Another freaking specail sale.. Its not enough that I dropped a bundle during their open house with the purchase of the deluxe Waspite, a 35th scale Priest arty and a 48th Skywarrior. The next week they had an online sale with 20% off so I got the 1/350 eskimo and a Gato class sub. Now yesterday they threw a special 35% off on selected items and me I have to pick up the 1/350 Admiral Lazalev ( modern soviet bb?) and I still considered picking up a 48th arado 196 but better judgement ($$!) took over. What's for next week to drain my pocketbook.

PLease be advised that while it looks like a rant....its really telling you all what I bought...lol andf to praise Squadron for being so proactive lately

I am just the opposite. Squadron tried to charge me $25 to post 2 sets of decals to me. Never again will I consider their ridiculous postage prices.

Squadron seems like they have nonstop sales, and I actually am glad they do as it really helps out in a (dangerously) convenient manner

Warren: I hear ya on that one. I ordered two model kits from BNA Modelworld that I couldn't find anywhere else, and I spent just about as much on shipping as I did on the kits themselves! They have very tempting sales as well, but not so enticing for those who live outside of Australia.

On this sale, I ordered the Tamiya M1A2 SEP TUSK II for $53 + $7 shipping. They have reworked their shipping rates and delivery speeds over the last couple years.

I have made a few purchases lately and shipping has been low, which isn't easy when ordering from Canada.

I did however refrain from a couple of orders.

Cheers Rob.

If Squadron is killing you, then don't check out the latest sales at Lucky Models! They are going to be the death of me, especially if the wife finds out......

Agree with you on the Lucky Model sale - I stocked up on a bunch of Veteran Models details. They're so small though, shipping is free
