Building a 350 scale Akula russian attack sub. Have seen it either black or dark gray at top and red on bottom..( didn't think "waterline" was appropriate here....lol).
So which is accurate black top or dark gray

Thanks. I think I'll go with a charcoal as they been around for a while and I need a little color variation from the rest of the "fleet"

If you're not planning on actually weathering her, but want a more realistic look, I would definitely agree with using the charcoal paint.
