It would be nice to know what every body is working on. I am about 75 % finished with my Tamiya 1/350 IJN Yamoto Battleship. I am useing the WEMS pe set on it, and man this is a mind boggling set! So much detail parts to add on, but they do have exellant instructions. All turrets are attached and pe added. The superstructure is complete, and I have been adding water tight doors and hatches to it.
This has been a great build for me, Fun! The kit is a joy to work on, good fit and accurate detail. One thing, it takes up lots of room on my bench! its a big model.
So whats on your bench, and how are you doing on it ?

I've got the Hasegawa 1/700 Myoko and some fittings from Tom's Modelworks.

I've got a Tamiya's 1/350 Missouri about 20% done.The Hull is painted the three main 16 inch guns done and some decks painted. Got Toms pe set with it.
It will sit with the 1/350 New jersey I got siting already on the shelf.

It's not technically "on-the-bench" yet, but I'm doing some prep work on Tamiya's 1/350 New Jersey.

Tim built that same boat not too long ago. It is a great build have fun with it.

My next project is a dio with Bogue class escort carrier and a KG5 class battleship. I will be adding etched brass from White Ensign Models. On the bench right now I'm doing an article on creating a sea base for waterline ships.

Yeah, it's my first ship ever so I'm taking my time and just building for the fun of it.

I am just getting interested in Ship modelling.
I bought the Airfix Repulse yesterday, and I plan on starting that once my Tamiya Cromwell is done (nearly at the painting stage).

Technically it is not on the bench, but am working on the Tamiya Enterprise. Added some sheet styrene to build a simple hanger deck. Just want to put a few planes in there so as not to have big holes at the elevators.

up until a few weeks ago i had the 1/350 KG5 but my nephew asked what kind of ship model he should do for a school project,needless to say he got the best grade in class and i have to get another KG5.

Nice sacrifice, give the Lad a head start! Young people need this kind of hobby, its healthy for them.

Thought about doing a section from pearl harbor in 1/350 scale, trying to find some detailed harbor maps so I can start the planning stage. Does anyone know of any pearl harbor sites. Real ones not about the movies that have been made. It would be great to have the whole harbor in 1/350 but we all know how big that would be, and how much it would cost.

I'm scratchbuilding (now at 20%) a Regia Marina MTM Barchino in 1:72 scale.
Its lenght: 8,1 cm. I hope i'll finish within February. But i can' t send you the photos because I haven't a good camera, but only a Zenith 11. Sorry....
