Hi all

After nearly 30 years of not building and painting a ship i thought it was about time. The recent release from AK Interactive, namely the weathering sets and German Ships DVD, are what motivated me to give it a go. I picked up this Revell kit at a yard sale last June for $2 so I figured why not start with this.
I built it out of the box as I didn't know if I would stick with it or shelf it and go back to my Armor vehicles.

The kit is an old dog that does need quite a bit of cleaning of the poorly molded parts.

I mainly am concentrating on the painting and weathering and using some military vehicle weathering techniques.

Still lots more to paint and weather. Ihave a blog at the following and also on my website with more pics.

Definitely not as complex as that of the Cutty Sark.

Should give it a shot.
Cheers,

Will give it a shot when it's time. I have two Revell 1/96 Constitution kits in the base that might be good practice...lol

ok I had issues with pb and couldn't upload pics. I did a bit more weathering and have some pics here.

Will see if pb is working better tomorrow.
