If your looking to build something that went to sea with deck chairs and swimming pools instead of canon and torpedoes then Airfix had two new luxury liner kits for you this month. This first is of R.M.S Mauretania and the second is of R.M.S Queen Elizabeth.

It's good to see these grand old ladies again. It would be even better if Airfix issued new tools of some other liners ... Normandie? Europa? Rex?

Agree, nice to see the old ladies back, but some new ones would be nice, preferably 1/400th as that seems to be the scale these days, and also some more recent ladies too. QE2 towards the end of her career, Queen Elizabeth / Victoria,

Fully agree guys... these tools are quite old, Mauretania dating back to the 50's and QE to the 60's...

at these prices Airfix are probably aiming them at the kids market as they'd no doubt make for good starter kits.
