Tamiya new tool Yamato worth it?

Simple question (well probably not): is the 'new tool' 1/350 Yamato really worth three times the asking price over the improved mold version?
Looking at what's in the box you still need to buy a set of pe railings and possibly a set of gun barrels for the new tool version, were as you could buy a complete upgrade set for the improved mold version and still have change left over.

In my 'umble opinion it is worth every cent. You only have to compare the moulding and you will see where the extra money went into.
