I'm working on the Dragon 1:700 Tarawa, and the supplied airwing is kind of sparse and missing Harriers.
Does anyone know of a source for 1:700 aircraft- particularly hleos and some Harriers?

Thanks,
Peter

Check with the website model companies. Type in aircraft and scale i:700 in their search engines and see what comes up. Seems I remember Skywave made some modern stuff, but no clue as to what types. Another tactic might be to contact manufacturer and see if you can buy some more...buy a whole sprue to get what you need

Have you checked out White Ensign Models? They do some 1/700 helos and aircraft, many of the helos include etched rotors. They look reasonably priced as well, for example 5 apaches with etched parts for £4.22 (about $7.60). They also do 5 AV8B harriers for £2.95 ($5.30) although these don't include etched landing gear.

I don't know if they are currently in production or not, but DML/ Dragon had a vehicle/ aircraft pack to use on "Gator Freighters." The pack included LCVP-7's, M-60A-3's, AV-8B Harrier2's, AH-1W Sea Cobras, CH-46 Sea Knights, CH-53E Super Sea Stallions, CV-22 Ospreys, and LCAC's. My local HobbyTown has a couple of them on their racks.

BlueBear,

Thanks for the Dragon clue - I need some CH-46s for my 1/700 Austin Class LPD.

Jeff
