A lot of WWII carrier modelers were very pleased with Tamiya's waterline CV-3 Saratoga release last year. Now for this year a
limited edition kit of 'Sister Sara 'with PE detail is coming this July.

I have to ask how would a real wood flight deck anything more than completly useless? The woodgrain would just be hilariously overscale in 1/350 and laser cut wood smells like it's giving me cancer.

I would be interested to see if this kit is better than the Trumpeter at 1/350th scale.

For an example, here's a link to the Artwox Models site that features their 1/700 flight deck for the Tamiya kit of Saratoga that had no extra PE or wood deck features.
