A lot of WWII carrier modelers were very pleased with Tamiya's waterline CV-3 Saratoga release last year. Now for this year a limited edition kit of 'Sister Sara 'with PE detail is coming this July.
A Lexington-class aircraft carrier (converted from battlecruiser hulls) built for the United States Navy during the 1920s, Saratoga was one of the US Navy's first aircraft carriers and was one of three prewar US fleet aircraft carriers, along with Enterprise and Ranger, to serve throughout World War II.

The PE details are made by Pontos Models and packaged with this kit, (No. 25179 ). An estimate price of ¥14,000 (@$113.00 USD) is listed at the Tamiya website. The detail set also includes brass gun barrels and a wooden flight deck. The release date for this kit is currently set for July 18th, 2015.

I have to ask how would a real wood flight deck anything more than completly useless? The woodgrain would just be hilariously overscale in 1/350 and laser cut wood smells like it's giving me cancer.

I would be interested to see if this kit is better than the Trumpeter at 1/350th scale.

For an example, here's a link to the Artwox Models site that features their 1/700 flight deck for the Tamiya kit of Saratoga that had no extra PE or wood deck features. LINK
