Dragon had a previous Scharnhorst kit in the same scale that represented her as she looked in 1943. Now a new Smart Kit is coming in November that represents Scharnhorst as she appeared in 1941.

I'm with Greg and Si on this one, should have been the Gneisenau. I already have the 1943 version so I'll not be getting this one.

Can't see why they really bothered with this.
I'm certainly going nowhere near at that price.
I have the '43 version and that has its own problems.
I wonder if they've sorted the hull fit and the dodgy instructions?

Some parts have been re-done (obviously) and it is claimed the hull has been fixed. Freetime has it on pre-order for $140 USD. Not much more than the original Scharnhorst.
