Coming this summer is a waterline version of one of naval battle histories greatest victors - His Imperial Japanese Majesty`s Ship Mikasa. This is a new tool kit with what looks to be excellent details.rn

Looks like a decent kit of a very interesting subject. I don't have a lot of experience with pre-WWI dreadnoughts, but I might just have to pick this one up.

I've met more than one modeler who prefers pre-dreadnought battleships from the waterline up. The bathtub shape hulls are a turnoff to some after being used the sleek hulls of later made cruisers and dreadnoughts.

For myself, I dig the bloated, bulbous look of the riveted hulls. It gives them a cool steampunk look.
