Coming along very nicely Mr Inman!
Finally back from our family holiday and thanks to my body clock not adjusting to the time differences i have the chance to catch up on all that's been going on here at MSW!
Now, to turn her over, did you use a small crane, or was it a lifting tackle and block?
PS which helicopter carrier by Airfix are you referring to?

Welcome back Russell! Wish I could afford to go on a family holiday.. maybe if I didn't spend so much on model kits..
The Airfix helicopter carrier I am referring to is the 1/600 Moskva. Would be awesome to see it done in 1/350 by someone.
And while I am here, the Nimitz is as finished as it is going to get for the moment! Yep, all od a sudden it all came together. The props went on..
I used some fishing line coloured with a permanent marker for the arrestor cables..
And you know what, she is so wide it only JUST fits in my only display case in the hobby room..
A little 'friend' is sitting next to her. After that I started putting the vehicles together..
And that's it for now. Aircraft and vehicle can wait. I have an Haguro to do!
Cheers and thanks for following the build.
Cheers
Warren

Very nice work Warren! Your Nimitz looks great - even if, as you said, the PE detail might be rather soft. She looks really fine!
Amazing how tiny those props look - and they are huge. Just gives a nice impression of how big the stern of these beasts actually is...
No congrats on commissioning yet - no CVN is complete without all the deck equipment!
Cheers,
Jan

So big I don't think I will be building another one until I move to our new place of residence and I have more display room.
Cheers Simon
