Looking for a good ref book for Iowa class BB. I know there are a ton of them out there. What i am specifically looking for is WW2 era camoflauge schemes. So a book with a lot of color designs would be usefull. Not looking at spending a fortune softcover is fine. The Squadron release emphsises modern refit but their general format for books is what i like

Hi Steve,
A great basic reference on the Iowas (with some nice color profiles as well) is The Iowa Class Battleships: Their Design, Weapons and Equipment by Robert F. Sumrall (Author) and Thomas Walkowiak (Illustrator). I don’t think it is in print any more, but you can pick up a used copy on Amazon for about 20 bucks.
