Hi All,
After putting together a Star Wars Snowspeeder with my eight-year-old a few months back, I now seem to have acquired this as a birthday present.
If I'm going to build this I thought I might as well document it to give me a bit of motivation and - hopefully - help along the way.
It's a mass of plastic, most of which is thrown away or whittled down to replace with brass bits. Oh, and there's a wooden deck in there too. Just to make things extra confusing there's two conflicting sets of instructions that need to be followed in parallel.
Think I'm just going to spend the evening planning out how on earth I'm going to approach this.
All advice, encouragement and criticism welcome!

Just built this, albeit the standard version, with the Pontos upgrade set. I can tell you the plastic is pretty good, and there are aren't any major issues with fit that I found.

Hopefully this will show the planes so far. Trying to stick the brass guns in the back is insane - must be an easier way...

Figured rather than try to glue the things into the hole in the plane for the plastic gun, I'd just glue them into the base of the plastic gun, snip it off then glue the plastic bit into the hole in the planes. Lot easier to glue plastic to plastic rather than trying to use superglue, tweezers and hushed prayers.
