This is the official thread for the "Dry-Docked 2019" campaign. Post your initial photos, progress photos, and hopefully photos of you completed build here. Also remember to post a photo of your completed build in the campaign gallery (coming soon).

Gary,
I could not find a place to sign up. No link or campaign page.
Take care,

I have participated in the prior 2 Dry Docked campaigns to good effect, completing both my builds.
This year I am going to do something a little different. My prior 2 efforts were either mostly complete (my HMS Warspite was around 80% done) or small (USS England).
This time I am going with a ship that is big and still in a fairly early stage of completion. I am of course talking about my USS Missouri build which I haven't touched in 5 months.
Here she is in her current state:

Still so much to do on her. My goal is to try get her completed by September when my local IMPS show takes place and enter her. I will be hindered by the fact I am a magpie and distracted by new and shiny things which I want to build (I have several new ships in the mail coming my way, both WW2 and modern era).
Still, I am hopeful that with a goal in place I can get there
And to second Don, it still doesn't look like the Campaign Sign up is in place.

My Gearing is sitting patiently in line waiting for a berth. Do we have any progress on the Campaign set-up?

There seems to be a hang-up, maybe a procedural thing. I've PMed the campaign manager (bill_c) and I've sent another one.

I really need to complete this Heller 1/75 Pinta. It's taken me longer to get around to this kit than it took Columbus to sail the ocean blue. The kit is surprisingly well made. I would like to do a crew for this but first I need to complete it.

Hello - this will be my 1st campaign and I'm hoping this will help me get motivated to finish this project. Back in Sept. of 2018, I purchased Lindberg's Shrimp Boat to try to convert it to look like Forest Gump's "Jenny" shrimp boat. I have every thing primed but put it aside up until now. Time to get working!

People can join anytime before a campaign is over. I don't get notified when people enlist, just when they post to the campaign thread.

Here is my Lindberg 'Blockade Runner' which has been sitting patiently for me to get back to work on her. I have added two spars on the foremast and some running rigging. I intend on adding a topsail.

Hi Robert,
I built this little shrimp boat as a kid (1970s Lindberg release as the "Fishing Trawler Aquarius"). I made a real mess of it, so I look forward to watching you bring it to life!
Have you considered switching to another photo hosting provider for this new project? There are quite a few good ones - I happen to use Imgur. Imgur is free, easy to use, and won't require you to post these microscopic images. We want be able to SEE your beautiful work!

Well after almost 3 years in mothballs my Dragon 1/350 USS Gearing sees the light of day (well, the light of fluoro) again! Spent some time looking it over and trying to remember where I was heading, even went back to my Gearing Class Odyssey thread to check up on myself.
I managed to fit the main superstructure tonight, as well as about 20 small styrene parts to the main deck. The hull red is masked off and I'm almost ready for primer on this section.

Cheers, D

Here is the campaign gallery. Post a picture of your finished build here.
Dry Docked 2019 Campaign Gallery
Warning: It's in a weird place and not where the other campaign galleries are. I've told the powers that be to no avail, so here it is. At least it exists.

I'm still in the game - as soon as I've cleared all my autumn chores, I'll be back at it !
