Fantastic work as always Tim!
you always bring something different to the table and it's refreshing to see!
I've been away from MSW for a bit now for health reasons but glad to be able to catch up with all the goings on!
Can I ask how you made the nameplate?

Thanks Russ!
The nameplate is simplicity itself - I just typed it on a Word document, added a Imperial Navy ensign I found on the Internet, and printed it on glossy photo paper.
Good to have you back, my friend - I hope your health issues are resolved and you can get back into building with us again!

Thanks mate, slowly getting back to 100%!
That's a really great workaround with the nameplate adding life and colour.
yep, slowly chipping away at a Trans Am over on the Automodeller site
Not sure I'll do it justice though-it's been a long while since I've done cars and am much more used to ships n planes these days

Wow Tim,
somehow I missed that one entirely!!
However, the gun looks great, something very different for a change, yes, but as always crisp and clean work and the impression is really great!
Cheers

Thanks Jan!
This kit was one of the type 96 25mms Pit-Road had issued in single, double, and triple mount versions in white metal back in the ‘90s. They are all long out of production, but Pit-Road has recently revisited the series. Check out their new all plastic version of the IJN type 96 25mm triple mount. It is even better than Pit-Road's old metal kits! Gotta try it one day...
