Thought I would share this here. This is my Hasegawa 1/700 battleship Alabama that I just completed for the Unsung Sisters campaign. Hope you enjoy.

Great work Garry. Really like that camo job. The Alabama REALLY qualifies and a "unsung sister." Most everybody has heard of the South Dakota and Massachusetts, but who has heard of the Alabama and Indiana?

GB -

Looking good. A lot better than my USS Nashville is coming along. Forgot that 1/700 ships are so small!

Now this is good Gary, it looks as though it all ties together, what did you do different from that other ship, is it just different colors, or did you throw in a filter to tie it together this time.
Do you remember the other ship where the lines were real sharp against each other, and this one blends together like it should.

Howdy Kerry,
Realy the only thing I did any different on this build was, there was no masking done.
It was all done freehand with a brush. I hand paint all my ships.
I mask if I have strait lines to paint, but still use the hand brush.
I have always enjoyed hand painting, and thats the method I prefer!
Now the aircraft I build, I airbrush. Just no getting around that.
Thanks for the complements!

Cheers,

Garry
