I have been slowly working on a very large scale (1/16 scale) PT Boat I purchased thru Ebay. The hull is about 5 ft long and is fibergalss. I'm trying to represent a late war Elco 80 footer and cannot find a 1/16 scale single 40mm Bofors gun and 37mm. I rather not scratch build the guns. Is any company out there making these guns in that scale. Frank's Mosquito Boats has plans to make these but not for now.

This is HR Products, and they specialize in this stuff.

Thanks for the info. They only carry the 50's and 20mm which I already have.

Just to give you all a quick rundown; I scratched built the Mk13 torpedo racks out of plastic, brass and wood. Mk.13 torpedoes were also scratch built from wood and plastic. The gun tubs are from PVC and all railings are brass soldered with a mini torch. I need to detail the bridge with PE controls and dials that are available. I have yet had the time to start on the late war radar mast. Power will be a Warehouse Hobbies Enforcer 30cc w/clutch that I got thru Ebay. I need to get a water pump and build me a working scale-like water cooled exhaust (exiting thru the 6 mufflers on the stern). This thing is huge but will make a MEAN scale model. I have or can get or scratch build most everything I need but those guns I need is really a challange. Again, If any body out there knows who makes a 40 and 37mm in 1/16 please let me know. I think the PT's were the koolest ships in the Navy inventory!

Ok, I guess I will have to scratch build both guns since no one makes them in the scale I need. Can anyone advise of good plans for the Bofors and 37 mil.
