hi folks...this is my first post in the ship forum

i have the tamiya 1/350 Enterprise for years sitting in the box...
last week, i open the box for inspection....and found that two of the propellers are broken...

then i email tamiya cusomer sevice for part replacement....they reply back with an order form and the parts cost me arround USD 40...
that's too much...i said

so i going for other options...1. aftermarket set
or cast the propellers ...
before i move on, i would like to know if there's aftermarket propellers out there??

or if someone is good and kind who happen to have spares propeller ..can they send it to me....
pls contact me to make a deal..

thanks

I would venture a guess that trying to repair the broken part, or making a mold and casting one would be a lot better than 40 dollars. Try making a few postings at the various site, for ship builders, perhaps you can hook up with someone who did a water line, and still has a set of props laying about they are willing to part with.
Good Luck.

Thanks Dave for the answer and suggestion. Unfortunately, some of the broken propeller parts were missing. I try to find them and they're missing forever.

Can u suggest other ship builder group that i can go to. Thanks once again.

Most of those guys on those ship forums are a pretty good bunch. Some of the worst rivet counters you could ever find, but they all really know their stuff and readily share it.

Try "The Official Parts Yard". They may be able to help you and if not you can post on there telling the folks what exactly you are looking for and someone may have the piece(s) you need.
(Sorry, I'm not too sure what the link is for it.)
