Shalom,
You'ld want to go with the 1/720 just in case you'ld likee to build the whole carrier group like I did. There are more ships made in this scale than 1/800.
I think there are more ships in 1/700.
Happy sailing kapitan.

ekaufman,
Get the larger scale. You will go blind prematurely working on those "ittybitty" scales.
By the way, I have been to Israel (and Haifa) about 4 or 5 times (when I was in the US Navy.) Beautiful country and wonderful people. I even shopped in the "Scud Mall!" Take care
Ciao for now
Rob

Hey Rob,
nice to know you have been here,i also have been to the states several times, and have family in Philadelphia.
just a quiqk question,is the size diffrence so big between 1/720 and 1/800,and also considering the nimitz is probably bigger then the saratoga (or maybe i'm wrong) from what i heard about the italeri kit it's not that's good, not that i know somthing on the academy kit.
well anyway,nice knowing you

I'ld still go with the 720 scale kit. It is close enough to 700 scale and that by far is the most popular scale with probably well over a 100 types of ships on it....including the Nimitz class.
