Just posted - News of two new warship releases from the Ukrainian company ICM. One a Submarine from WWII, the other, a very welcome release of a German WWI Battleship - making a refreshing change from all those Bismarks and Tirpitzes which have been released recently... The full story can be seen:

A ICM Battleship Markgraf! Exellant news Jim ! Now we are talking models! Good timing for this kit, after the manufactures have been in a rut for such a long time. And a WW-1 subject at that! I salute ICM, very refreshing indeed.

Unfortuneatly this is the third release of a Konig class battleship. I wish they had done a Bayern or one of the Battlecrusiers like Molkte, Von der Tan or Seydlitz . Maybe they'll release some of the British ships of this era as well. The sub is one of the late war varieties that popped up. This does add to the 144 scale sub fleet though and should be a welcome addition to those that build them.
