I believe this is no the3rd entry ito the torpedo ring...CMK and WEM both make resin versions. I think verlinden might. Well as stated earlier there is no shotage o AM stuff for this kit. Everyone is jumping on board. Think you can just about build a 72nd scale U-boat without buying the kit. I think the only thing I have not seen replaced are the two hull pieces.

I thought it was just me Steve. Sadly, (the few) Warship news stories I have to process always seem to include the name Revell, the number 1:72 and the title - U-Boat. Nice to see it as a subject, but....Jim

The difference will between CMK, WEM and Schatton is that the laters Tropedoe body is a one-piece turned metal part. It give you a much better impression of weight talking of a ~ 1to. Torpedoe. Also this insures perfect dimesions without any risk of bad casting or moulding flaws. WEM does one do a run of 200 resin torpedoes yet as the mould will be no longer of use thereafter. The quality of resin parts can be bad or teh parts can be damaged. A brass body will be much better.

All the best.
