how is revell's pt-109 in terms of quality?

Hello Spectre!

The Revell 80 ft Elco has only one problem, from my point of view:
The deck wasn't supposed to have the planking marked like that - it should be almost invisible!
But if you can live with that, go for it

It's a fun Boat to build - I have built three so far...
one of them in the zebra "camouflage".

Crude - but keep in mind that the kit was oiginally done in early 60's and never changed. It has always been a big seller for Revell and so they never did anything else for it. I believe White Ensig Models or Eduard has a photo etched set to finally go with it. I cut off the molded rails in the bow and ran streched sprue in plaace and cut out the kit molded on windsceen and replaced it with clear styrene. I've seen others do more
