Good afternoon Ladies (Mrs. Gunny) & Gents,
We have an official name for the proposed Submarine Campaign. By majority vote (six to be exact):
The official name is (drum roll in background):
DIVE!-DIVE!-DIVE!
Thanks to "Treadhead" for the suggestion.
"Run Silent, Run Deep" was second with three votes.
I plan on putting the proposal together tomorrow (Sunday) at the latest...there will be plenty of time to build (and recruit others) so don't worry...
Thanks!!

I would LOVE joining this build! It all depends on when it ends. I have 2 and soon to be three projects on hold because I cannot find a new compressor hose. However, I have seen some very inspiring builds and pics so I am definitley in, it just depends on whether I will be able to do it.

Howdy spectre!
It will be a good long build, so it should work out for you! The proposed starting date is December 15th and runs through May. How does that sound mate?
Hey, we be easy!
Cheers,
Garry

Howdy to all Submariner's!
So, the official name of this Campaign is "Dive!..Dive!!...Dive!!!" huh?...........sounds like a jim dandy idea!
Not only am I personally happy about the final choice (and a big thanks go out to all who voted), but I really feel that it adds a very nice dramatic edge to the build.......cool.
Well, as I've already said. "I'm in!" with at least one entry of my 1/350th scale Dragon 'Ohio'. From a quick scan of the contents of the box, this is definitely a 'shake & bake', so my real pressure will be in the form of painting the hull accurately.
A task that looks easier than it is.....
Well....Good Luck to all of you underwater warriors!
Tread.

I'm so glad everyone seems happy with our campaign name...I really like it...very appropriate for this campaign.
The target dates are: Start - 12-15-04 & and end date of 05/31/05...that's five and a half months to build one (or more?) Subs.
I really can't wait to get started on this one....it might take me until Dec. just to figure out what to Sub(s) to build...

Looks like I'll have plenty of time to get theat Revell monster done. NOw if CMK would quit releasing all those wonderful interior kits I wont be tempted to do a complete interior for the beast. Just putting in all the PE from the modelbrass set is going to be challenging. I also have 9 little fellows who want to ride on top of it (Three of those CMK figure kits), but as they are not necessary for completion I may do and add them later on when I have ample time.
