Sir David, I crown you salty dog with flying colors! Very good for your first 1/700 scale ship model(subs are called boats, but they are still a ship model.) The weathering and detailing look good. Like the migit sub on the deck! Hey, your on the way. No turning back now! Ay matey!

:-) nooo i have to fight the urge to build another!
no seriously though although we all joke that we would never be caught dead doing anything other than armour, or aircraft, etc... i think when it comes down to it a bit of variety is good fun, and i really did enjoy this build.
gonna start ( and finish :-) ) the next one tommorow.
cheers

Thats the spirit David! I build in all area's of military models. I could not see giving up one type to build another type! :-) I want to build them all! I do build in spurts as far as subjects go.I just finished a large run of armor models, before that it was aircraft. Now I am in the ship building mode!
I have found that what I learn building one type of subject, I can use new found techniques on other types. They all work together! The opertunity is there, Just have fun.

Cheers mate,

Garry

David:

That is amazingly small, and amazingly done. You did a fine job on it. I can't wait to see how you bring it all together in your diorama.

Thanks for showing it to us.
