More of my 1/700 scale ships I built 4 or 5 years ago. I hope to start building more of these if my eyes and fat fingers can still work in this scale!
These are Japanese and American Carriers.

This is the IJN Akagi Carrier by Tamiya.

And the IJN Zuiho carrier by Hasegawa.

Then the USS Saratoga by Fugimi.

One thing about these 1/700 kit, they are fun to build! In this scale I dont worry about adding any PE to, so they are quik builds. Hope you enjoy them.

Nice work Garry. Good clean builds. Let's see how many 1/700 carriers we can get photos of in this thread.
Here's my Akagi:

Enterprise

Hiryu

Kiev

Tarawa and Wasp

Garibaldi

Who else has some 1/700 carrier photos to share?

Here's a few more carriers...

USS Saratoga CV-3

USS Independence CVL-22

I've since added an airgroup to the Sara, but I don't have any updated pictures.

One more to add to this post :

My recently finished USS Block Island (CVE-21). Used the Tamiya Bogue kit and Gold Medal Models photo-etch CVL/CVE set.

Garrys stuff came across as red x's but everyone elses's got through. Used to build 700 scale 20 years ago and I could have added the rest of the Japanese to the photo collection, but gave them all away and the unbuilt kits too. Right now, only have the ESSEX in 350 built, but the Hornet, Enterprise, Nimitz, and next month the Lexington will be qued up. So yes we definiely NEED a flat-top campaign....right after the Dreadnaught. How 'bout December? Most should be done or real close with their battleships by then. We're spacing these builds out way to long and too far apart. Either that or everyone is signing up for everything. It took me two and a half months to build that giant sub, I figure about the same amount of time for my Bismarck.

Howdy Steve!
Yeah i'm all for a flattop campaign also! It could start earlier, say in November. But it is going to have to be a long build. I have the Trumpeter 1/350 Hornet to build. It was a gift, and came with all the after market goodies available for this kit, including figures! So I want to take my time on this baby and do a good job. I'm thinking 8 months to a year for a campaign. I will be doing the Dolittle raid scheme with a deck full of B-25's. Well you know that, I gave you some! LOL! :-)
Hey I'm ready when you are bud!
