Anyone know if there is a dampener system for the recoil? If they fire those about the same time, does the ship roll to which ever side for a moment?

Yes, just like any artillery piece, they have hydrolic dampeners. Or shock absorbers some may be called , to slow and absorb the recoil. The ship realy moves very little if at all.

Notice how they are at the end of the deck and (relatively) no where near the guns firing. Heck, those on the bridge are closer to the guns then those on the deck are. Of course they are protected by blast resistant windows.
