As you know if at all possible I like to try my barrels for fit and ease of fitting
Here is the 88mm; I just cut off the original and drilled 1.5mm (1/16")
Popped the brass replacement in with a tiny drop of SGlue and left for 2 mins; done

The 20mm is a little tougher and needs a steady hand; i cut off the plastic; and drilled with a 0.024" drill (#73)
I used a pin chuck; and just took my time; but it was still done in about 3 mins for the drilling; keep turning the plastic as you go deeper to maintain a good hole in line with the part left Again a tiny drop of glue and leave for a few mins; the result is stunning compared to the original plastic

Are you making that U-boat for DDD Campaign or just for Fun?
You still can enlist

Best regards from this side of the Atlantic

Are you using the David Welch's WTC or are you making your own?

Just curious...

I was looking the kit over this morning

The guns for sure; depth charges and some of the deck fittings popped into my mind
As mine will be RC'ed I'll be making a custom propshaft and housing

I know this is way off topic, but a 40' pool in Ontario...now that's nuts or is it indoor. Talk about Polar Bear Club !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve,

I have 3 Flowers on the shelf. Please let me know what you are going to do for R/C gear and the prop set up. I plan on R/C equipping one of them and the other two will be static.
