Hi Guys,

Thanks to Apple, I reformatted my web page for pics of my u-boat model. As a result, I have a new address.

Link: click here.

Thanks for looking.

Hello Jess!!

You have done a great job!!
And I hate seeing a great job, "spoilled" with two details that can still be repaired:
- Try to remove the sag on the cables...
- Add some cables from the hidroplanes to the hull

If you'll need any references, send me a PM or just post it here

No harm intended, just feel that with this two little details would bring justice to all the work you had!!!

Yeah, two details I can't seem to get around to. I will one day. Especially that sag in the cables, drives me nuts everytime I look at it. I don't know how I did that. It was tight before I glued it down. Must have just not cut it short enough.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm presently working on my second one with 5 AM kits. But at the rate I'm building it, it should be done in a couple of years.

I'm currently building the Revell 1/125 with Nautilus upgrades for a client. I'll post some pics of that when it's finished. Almost done.

Thanks again.

Take Care,

Jess

Nice work on the sub Jess.

I like the weathering and the overall worn look of the model. Can't seem to find anymistakes to it (except for the sag in the cables) , and the paintjob is flawless.
She looks really impressive under that glass protection.

You must have spent a couple of hours postshading or preshading every rivetline on this one!!

Hey Jess!

She's a looker! I really like the weathering and used look. It's not overdone and very subtle yet noticable. It does indeed look very nice. I really loved the head on shot.

Way to go!

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I really do appreciate it.

By the way, the paint job was all done with a brush. I don't own an airbrush nor do I know how to use one. Just a whole lot of drybrushing.

Take Care,
Jess
