Been around the forum but this is probably my 2nd. post here, so its definitely foreign waters BUT after looking at that dio, I've definitely missed out a fair bit of action here.
The amount of detail is just mind boggling. At 4 ft. its definitely a labor of love. Thanks Garry for sharing that with us.

He used little people too, only his took their wet weather gear off. I would love to see this one for real. I was lucky to see the 1/35th Andreas one once, now that was awesome. I liked the chopped "S" boat he used in this one. Think I want to do mine complete though. :-)

It's a very good scale down of Andrea's Das Boot Dio!
I have no "problem" with this!
If someone saw a dio that he/she likes and find it challenging to reproduce, even at a diffrent scale, I'll say... Go for it!
In the process, probably, he/she will learn a lot of techniques, enhance a few more, learn how to plan things properly and in the end, a dio like that is the result!!
It's a very good dio!!
