Hi guys,
Here's another sub carved by Frank, it's the USS Thresher.
He mentioned that some of them are a bit banged up from being packed away.
Enjoy!

Steve thanks for posting his work. Please ask him to join the site. That man has some skill! He has placed a few in museums? That is a beauty.

I just love it Steve! Like Scott said, ask Frank to join. He is a wealth of information, not to mention an artiest of models!
Thanks,

Scott,
Yes, he has donated, in his words, " a goodly number" to museums and has sold them to collectors. He knows how to get to Armorama and I've told him he has a growing base of admirers of his work. I hope he will decide to join. He said he really liked the models that he's seen here.
Adios

Well, this Frank is a WWII Submarine Vet and I think he's a bit apprehensive at the prospect. He might join when he's a little more comfortable about the idea.
just keep your fingers crossed.

The man is a credit to modelers everywhere. He has some beautiful subs. I'll say a prayer that he joins us...if God can't convince him, no one can

...besides, that's who gave him his modeling talent.
