Just back from KC and I picked up a Trumpeter Kilo. After seeing those that were built for Triple D, I really wanted one. After looking it over, I think it'll make a nice build up. The detail seemed pretty good and the hull halves dry fitted together rather well and appears that there will be little in the way of filling and sanding.

If you haven't purchased one yet, I would recommend it, I think you'll be as pleased.

Sounds like a plan. I have wanted to do a dio of a modern diesel for a while now, but still probably won't getaround to it for a while.
