I wanted to add a couple more photos of the VIIC. I thought the others didn't show the weathering very well and I was kind of happy with how that turned out.

Sorry if it seems that I'm deluging everyone with these shots.

I promise, these are the last.

That's one nice looking boat Herr Klieu. I think the weathering looks very natural. That's a great kit, I just don't have room for it anywhere.

Thanks guys!

I think the way it turned out with the weathering was a happy accident. It sort of looked right and I just stopped there.
I was tempted to do a little more but I thought I should just stop while I was ahead.

It was fun.

Those are awesome photo's Steve! I love it!!!.
Boy am I behind the curve on my photo skills!...and my modeling skills.
I did email you some photo's of my USS Ohio, if you can help me get them posted in time.
I am really disappointed with myself for the way the sub turned out, but with the time constraints I've had, it's a wonder I even got it done at all (time I should have spent on a final exam).
I think I'll be building this kit again, just so I feel like I've done it some justice, and so I can get the correct paint scheme.
Everything that could go wrong, did today while I was rushing to finish it....paint bled under tape...decals ripped, or were destroyed completely, etc., etc.
I need a drink!....which I rarely ever do!

I feel your pain Darryl, I really do.
I rushed to finish mine as well. Melted the rigging twice trying to tighten it, cracked the CT rail trying to re-position it for a photo...forgot to add the krystal klear for the rear scope, broke off the rear rudder once....had a meltdown about 4PM and swore that the uninverse was out to destroy me...After the photos came out so crappy, I was hunting for the Jack and Coke....

You're not alone Bro.. :-) :-) The last day of this campaign made finals week and defending my thesis seem like child's play! :-) :-)

You're photos are up
